Last of the batch of songs made with lofi percussion and samples. This is a song about a jokester from back in the day who tried to satirize life in realtime in place of normal interpersonal communication. Deadman wore a Robin Hood costume and danced the safety dance while recording the vocals. Digi Hartatak performed most music tracks while holding his breath and wearing a cheap plastic fireman's helmet.

Deadman on vocals and Digi Hartatak on guitar, synth and programming. Per a recent interview with Digi Hartatak, "I originally conceived the idea for this song while contemplating the vast emptyness in between my sound processing organs. Then I divided the GPS co-ordinates of an unknown location by the oscillation rate of a broken LFO from a crashed UFO. With this data, I delicately smashed my femur against my leporous appendage detachment apparatus and superimposed the audio rendering of...

54 minute Sony CDit II Chrome master cassette with some stuff recorded for future use including Lipksi on guitar along with drum machine. Valdo starts off the tape with some of his stuff he had me throw some basslines on. Then I experiment with the 8bit Yamaha sample keyboard. Without a functioning track recorder I faced the moved to Florida so I collected some tracks to use in a new 4 track someday... There is a horrible cover song and an original song by the band with no name. Recorded live...

This was Lipski's mixdown tape and has bassless mixes of some songs, different mixes of other songs and the best part... Remixes of the old shcool rap jams with Rakim. Brian Lipski seems to have been able to get a much much better sound than Valdo's mixdown of the songs. Nice Job... The other mixes do not do the songs justice and this is the way I remembered the jam sessions...

Before Deadman's rising Digi was the MC and the DJ of all NERDS. He plays the funky bass to samples of valdo's drumset and spackle knife and KC samples and Jerry's Kid bass solo. All samples available at Freesound.org. Deadman appears via samples from old band practice recordings from late 1980's.

Song about the intricate procedures of nose nugget management, including removal and disposal. Started with some Freesound loops and added bass and organ tracks and laid down my vocal parts. Then the Deadman vocal tracks and misc. samples were mixed in. I had a whole guitar solo section with two tracks but could not get the mix to work so scrapped most of it, what is left is at the end.

The last time I did a song that mentioned minimal everyone complained and said it was too busy so I decided to build a song on only two notes. I dumbed down the bassline as much as I could without having a seizure and fought to keep only 2 voices for most of the song. I could not stop myself from adding the synth solo at the end and the piano triads which added another 4 notes. As for the ambient part, I used recent field recordings that I just added to Freesound over an almost drone like...

I started off with a 3/4 march from an old wax cylinder from 1898 and added some snippets from pop culture and history until I built it up enough to morph to 4/4 time for some swing notes. Space history told heavy techno style. Created on my spare time entirely with an old Pentium 2 with 32 megs of memory. I had a soft synth that would not run on XP and I forget the name. I had to use 22k sampling rate to keep my system from freezing up while recording the individual tracks with Cool Edit 96 (still using it!). Acoustic based jam with a laid back but funky beat and some rasta twists and turns, best listened to while driving away from something and looking in the rear view mirror, preferably with the sunset behind you and the window open to allow the air to blow your hair around... and wear sunglasses it looks cooler. Deadman on lead and backing vocals. Digi Hartatak on guitars, bass, synth and samples.

Deadman & Digi Hartatak are back.... in the 1970's. With some help from Electric Stiletto on pyramid drums on Electric Entourage, the funk flows freely and the grooves get groovier. Influenced by the progression through the decade of disco and decadance, Welcome Back takes you roughly back to the beginning you should have never escaped Kotter. Different strokes lead to Trapper John, time and time again. The Entourage is funky and Electric as they glam up the Vegas Strip with fear and...

Three songs from Deadman and Digi Hartatak. The Novelty of Nearsightedness is a different interpretation of another uncomplete song with a new beat. Merlin is a weird remake of an old song with vocals from Deadman. Does Not Compute is a new song about this cool preacher guy I came across on the internet, he really seems to be able to move the crowd!

Collection of partially unrelated songs used in some recent videos uploaded to Community Video section here and Youtube. Birth- A barely musical audio collage of sounds recorded during and immediately after the birth of a baby. The cybernetic merging of organic and mechanical sounds from the hospital and home synchronized and blended to perfection. All sounds used in this composition can be downloaded at freesound.org. The first 6 tracks of this are the monophonic mixes from a VCR of the "Warfare Videos" that I made at vo-tech in 1988 from songs from "TAPE #4" and "LAUNCH HAVEN JAM" and "PAIN OF LIFE". I threw out the original VHS video tape by accident about a month ago but have gotten a 1st generation copy from my grandmother recently. The rest of the tracks were recorded on 1/21/88 "Pain of Life" and the rest on 1/23/88. This was our "DEMO TAPE"...

Track 1 starts off with organic tribal chanting with electric guitar and evolves into some acoustic and piano tinkering. Anderstein exacts his revenge in the revenge track one with pulsating digital echoes of conflict and chanting chaos. An even larger contraption made by complicated networks of symbiotic and parasitic components. The automatic mechanism of madness chugs along, gears screaching under the pressure of it's own immense weight. The immense implosion of gravity in on it's self around the machine creates heat and friction in the internal components untill one of them breaks and the machine comes crashing down. When the machine shuts down, the illusion generators and subliminal brain washing centers will be exposed...

Tribute to our favorite cyber parasites. They infect our forums, our chatrooms and our blogs. They bring nothing to the party, but want the spotlight on them as they lovingly taunt their captive audience. The masquerade is over and someone pissed in the punch. Some words are based on the norse legend writing of Skáldskaparmál by Bragi Boddason and the experience of running a netlabel over the last year. The events depicted in this song are fictional. Any similarity to any real troll living or...

Old recordings from CD's and cassettes from the 90's. Recorded on standard speed cassette 4 track and ART multiverb. Digi plays guitar, bass, keys, samplers, noises and vocals (ouch). Deadman plays guitar on the "in time" portion of creatordoubletheator and provides spoken word, weird noises and flatulence and French Pimp of Palmaire plays the angry guy tryin to sleep. Vocals on on 'idiot parade" by Deadman & Digi Beginning lyrics on "cerebral implosion" written by...

I was given a 6 track cassette master tape several years ago by my old guitar player Brian Lipski. I pieced together what tracks I could to try and create remixes with the least amount of processing possible to keep them original. Here they are, songs and words written and performed by Brian Lispki with exception of MIDI bassline thrown in bonus track. Barely remixed and remastered from original cassette master tracks from 1993.
